- Summarize the differences between a traditional SWOT analysis and an Action Oriented SWOT. In the first lesson, the description of what an action oriented SWOT is and how it compares the traditional SWOT analysis was covered using text, a video, and an infographic.
- Explain what makes a strategy actionable. In the first lesson, we’ll covered what makes a strategy actionable in the FAQ video and in the accordion style interaction.
- Construct an Action-Oriented SWOT analysis. In Lesson 2, we included a video on how to avoid mistakes that are commonly made in SWOT analysis and how to prepare the SWOT analysis to be upgraded to an action oriented SWOT. Then, in Lesson 3, we provided an infographic that explains the steps for generating an Action Oriented SWOT Analysis and on refining your SWOT analysis for maximum value.
- Determine which of the 4 types of strategies of the Action Oriented SWOT would be best to implement in your organization. Lesson 3 also went into greater depth on SWOT strategies in the video and in the integration.
- Determine whether a Traditional SWOT or an Action Oriented SWOT is the right tool for your needs. Gaining this insight in the summation of all three lessons from a comparison of the analysis in Lesson 1 to the coverage of the SWOT analysis types in Lesson 3.
