Videos
I am a big fan of video-based communication! A sampling of my works are below. I am sharing these videos to show you the range of video styles that I have created. If you have arrived here because we are working on a project together, I pointed you to this page to illustrate a feature or a style. So, please check out the videos below.

Video Presentation-based Course Content
There are many different styles of content for video. Below are some of my examples.
- The Video Presentations section shows examples of my slide based or talking head style of videos. These videos allow you to hear me explaining different concepts, starting with a presentation on the strategies that I use for developing instruction.
- Some people love animation while others prefer a more formal style. I find that 2D/3D animation is helpful for explaining concepts and other non-tangible subjects in a friendly way. The 3D example, King Corporate, is an example of using storytelling to set the stage for scenario-based learning. Another example (not shown) is for covering potentially sensitive topics like Diversity and Inclusion.
- Screencasts (also known as screen recordings) are ideal for tutorials for how-to computer skills, simulations, demonstrations, and walk throughs of computer or web-based content.
- Another style is filmed video. An example of this is included in the Just for Fun section as “Amazon Dot Notifications”. The clip demonstrates a variety of filming and editing techniques. This particular video was done as a fun exercise, but it could also be used to showcase any content filmed ‘on-location’ such as a documentary, tour, vlog, fictional story, interviews, or product demonstration.

Just for Fun
In our haste to get things done, sometimes we overlook the value of learning something new and just playing around wtih techniques. And, we get so serious, that we might not see that it’s ok to have a sense of fun and a sense of humor. Yes, I am a very focused and serious person most of the time. Not all of the time, though. Some light-hearted projects presented here just for fun.

I am a big fan of ChatGPT. Here are a few of my first experiments. I wanted to explore what the technology could do and get some hands-on experience with its capabilities and shortcomings. Note that these are far from literary masterpieces; the real learning here is the ease with which work can be done and without the skill (or perhaps with different skills) then I have used above as an experienced video editor.
